First off, I’m glad you are considering me for your first massage!
The process starts with you scheduling time on my booking site and completing a health history form. This form gives me insight into your story and is necessary for me to begin planning a session that will both meet your needs and keep you safe from harm. Different health conditions may require that we modify the massage or avoid certain areas of your body if they are injured or currently in recovery. My number one priority is to make sure to keep you safe while you are in my care.
The day of your session please plan on arriving a few minutes before the start time of your session. Before we get started on the actual massage I will conduct a brief intake interview to confirm and review the things in your health history form that may be relevant to the session. This is also where we land on how the session will go, what to cover, and anything you may want me to avoid. This is also a great time to ask me any questions you may have about any aspect of the session. I want to make sure you are completely comfortable before we get started.
Once we have our plan for the session, I will step out of the studio and wash my hands while you get undressed to your own level of comfort and get on the table. Please make sure to remove any jewelry or watches. I will let you know before I leave the room how to situate yourself. I’ll give you a few minutes to get ready and will knock on the studio door to check if you are ready.
Once I come back into the studio, I’ll make sure you are comfortable and I’ll get started!
Should you have more questions during your session I encourage you to ask me. If it is important to you, it is important to me and I want to make sure you enjoy your entire session.
I will then close the session and check in on how you are doing. Afterwards, I will leave the room to give you time to get re-oriented and dressed. Once you are put back together, come out of the studio and I’ll be waiting for you where I’ll check in one last time on how you’re doing, go over anything important I may have noticed, and get you scheduled for your next session.
I offer information sessions for clients who may have more questions they would like answered. FAQ’s like this cover information at a pretty high level, and I want to make sure that you get a chance to get any questions answered that may be preventing you from receiving a massage. The cost of the information session will be deducted from your first massage if you decide that I am the massage therapist for you!

Using all lowercase for names is a stylistic choice that projects casualness, approachability, and minimalism. While grammatically incorrect, it is popular in digital spaces to reject traditional, rigid formalities. Just like Greg!

It is hard to describe, but Greg has always been able to create and foster a safe, welcoming environment where people are able to let their guard down and be present. Receiving a massage puts the client in an extremely vulnerable position, and many clients have questions they may feel awkward asking during a standard intake process, or maybe think of something while in the middle of a session but don’t ask for any number of reasons. Greg’s goal is to get those questions answered, if it is important to you it is important to him.
It sounds silly, but the best way to experience it is to spend some with Greg. For this reason mainly, he offers information sessions for clients who maybe want to talk through some of their own questions or concerns about massage. FAQs like this section can’t possibly answer all of your questions, so let’s chat about it.
The cost of the information session will be deducted from the cost of your first massage.
